📘 Definition
The Organisation for the Single Register of Insurance, Banking and Finance Intermediaries is an association under the General Directorate of the Treasury. Created in 2007, it aims to certify insurance intermediaries and banking intermediaries in accordance with Directive 2002/92/EC of the European Parliament.
Several qualifications/authorisations are possible:Â
- Insurance Intermediary (COA, AGA, MA, MIA)
- Banking and Payment Services Intermediary (IOBSP, COBSP, MOBSPL, ....)
