📘 Definition
REACH is a European regulation (regulation n°1907/2006) which came into force in 2007 to secure the manufacture and use of chemical substances in European industry.
The aim is to identify, evaluate and control chemical substances that are manufactured, imported and placed on the European market.
All companies in the European Economic Area (EEA = European Union + Norway + Iceland + Lichtenstein) that manufacture, import or use chemical substances in their business, whether these substances are on their own (e.g. a solvent or a metal), in a mixture (e.g. a cleaning product containing this solvent, an alloy) or contained in an article, such as a kitchen utensil.
The chemical industry, manufacturing companies, crafts... all sectors are concerned.

The 4 pages must be present
The duration of the document is 24 months. Date of document" should be the date of the certificate. Example: if the document is dated 21/03/2020, please put Date of document: 21/03/2020
Please note that there may be an 'old' version in place with some suppliers. If the criteria are met the document can be valid. Only the certificate must be put in, no other document is allowed. |
